The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has disclosed that through scrutiny of what transpired during the 2017
JAMB is exam is still going based on the footage of the CCTV cameras.
This was disclosed by JAMB's Head of
Media Fabian Benjamin.
According to him, once any candidate is
discovered to involve in any irregularity, even
if the candidate has received his or her
result,
the candidate will still be sanctioned
for cheating during the exam.
"Those who know they were involved in any
acts inimical to our examination ethics
should not celebrate as their inglorious days
of punishment will soon surface." He threatened.
JAMB had earlier reported more than 10,000
candidates caught for examination malpractices in the ongoing UTME in
Anambra State and have been handed over
to appropriate authority.
